Abstract

Private security affirmation represents the direct product of traditional security concepts transition, which implies the monopoly of state law enforcement agencies in security area. Once new concept of the organization of work in security, in which state delegates some low risk area of security jobs to private contractors, today represent “standardized” and well established or functional private security sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but region too. Problems of public/private partnership in security sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina is one segment totally forgotten, and un researched in dynamics of reform processes in security sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries of the region.

Author in his article present the overview of the past activities in, so called, establishment of adequate concept of public private partnership in Bosnia attempts, and he is pointing out the necessity of serious analytical analyses, from the academic but also private security expert community.
