Experimental Age Determining of Fingerprints Evidence by Using Reagent SPR (Small Particle Reagent)

Abstract

Age determination of papilla found on the crime scene represents one of the key issues in the process of criminal investigation that needs to be established. This experiment represents an attempt of partial clarification of this issue in development of latent prints by using the SPR reagent. In that sense the article treats issues concerning structure of the human skin, occurence of the latent print, composition of human sweat, methods and means to be used for development of latent prints, as well as types of latent prints.
