Abstract

World globalization process as economical need emerged in the second half of XX century and got on intensity in first years of third millennium, so that states of Balkan, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of them, are going through hard way of economical transition of ownership and transformation of political system. That has consequences in changes of community relations which helped the rise of general and special forms of criminality. This brought up new ways of protection of persons and goods. One of this forms are agencies for protection of people and goods, as a part of private security system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Various preconditions are in the process of formation so that agencies would be able to answer to challenges of the working environment.

However, regardless of the mentioned actions, criminal acts of robbery of banks are increasing, which causes loss of multimillion losses, and lately the attempts were made to murder security guards as well. However, in order to raise level of security of people and property, it is necessary to undertake concrete measures.
