Community Policing - Comparative Approach

Abstract

The first part of the paper offers an survey of the new phylosophies of policing and the new models of crime prevention in four states: United States of America, England and Wales, France and Germany). The second part focuses on Council of Europe Recommendations relate to the Integrated Project: "Responses to Violence in Everyday Life in a Democratic Society and Urban Crime Prevention-a guide for local authorities".
